He realizes his wife is the one he should have worked to stay with in the first place as chance encounters with her and his new relationships teach him that the grass is not always greener on the other side Monique Miller is a 1994 graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham NC In 2003 she received an award from the Black Expressions Annual Fiction Writing Contest for the first chapter of her then titled manuscript Saving the Best for Last which is now a full length novel titled Secret Sisterhood She currently lives in Cary NC with her family The Marrying Kind Urban Books I love this author Literature Fiction I am so disappointed after reading this book It was very predictable boring and one dimensional Yes there are men that act like Travis in reality but his character was beyond exhaustingalso there were a lot of details about situations that weren t essential to the beginning denouement or ending of this bookthey felt very random Literature Fiction Decent plot though slow moving and a bit disjointed at times Observed several typos and errors throughout the book Lost my interest on occasion but was intrigued enough to finish reading Not compelled to read another book by this author Literature Fiction Quick but predictable read I so wanted to enjoy this story but it didn t have the awe factor Solid story with a little Christian input Literature Fiction The Marrying Kind by Monique Miller. The book was good Travis was a hot mess he did not take any of his responsibilities serious Travis could not hold a job and Beryl had to maintain the household His wife Beryl divorced Travis and took care of their two children The saying is you never miss the water until the well is dry Travis finally opened his eyes and started going back to church God brought people into Travis life that was a blessing to him We need to let Jesus lead us Awesome book Literature Fiction

This was a cute lil soft readit has a great message about the grass not being greener on the other side and also staying true to yourself Literature Fiction This was a great book from beginning to end I like the way the story started in between and the end Great job Literature Fiction I wanted to enjoy this than I did It reminded me of the stories we used to write in high school when we thought we know about relationships but actually had no clue Literature Fiction This book added extra unnecessary details about small events but not nearly enough about the actual plot I don t recommend it at all Literature Fiction..
