Site_link post a commentOne little piggy builds a house of straw The second makes a house of sticks But the third and smartest pig constructs his of bricks Will the big bad wolf be able to blow it down Not by the hair of his chinny chin chin The Three Little PigsI ve been purchasing the Silver Penny Stories series for my library but I had yet to read one of the titles in the series I finally tried it out with this one It is a familiar story of course but it s put together well with the left hand spread containing the text and the right hand spread containing the illustrations The illustrations were colorful but nothing groundbreaking Overall this series from my sampling is a solid entry into the classic no frills story I d recommend these to my library patrons who are looking for the classic versions of fairy tales The Three Little Pigs
