Inked beautyzon Pretty sure I say this most every time but Ms Blevins is one of those authors where I will one click her stories as soon as the pre orders go up without looking to see what the story is about and each and every time she checks off all the boxes in terms of what makes for good storytelling Her ability to create relatable characters with very real relationship issues even magical folks have problems is a huge draw for me Couple that with this incredibly detailed universe with distinctly different characters that seem to take on a life of their own that is so compelling that once I start reading I don t stop until I ve finished The story lines plots the suspense and drama Then there s the smexy stuff that s both enticing and always adds to the story Inked Beauty Out of the Fire 3 This was one of the stories that drew you in and held you there There was so much that happened all sorts of battles real and political so many emotions anger love loyalty and betrayal Impossible situations were maneuvered and dire situations handled Through it all Gavin Lauren and Nick faced every challenge some apart some together and forged bonds with each other Nothing was going to be simple or straightforward but they learned from each other and started to trust as they became a unit The epilogue was the icing on the cake rich with the satisfaction and warmth of finding your place in the world and the beings you were meant to be with 3 Inked Beauty Out of the Fire 3 The conclusion of this duology pick right up where the first book left off We get the big reveal about Lauren s origin and power which is original and intriguing with all the possibilities It is not a standalone and Unholy Murder should be read before for a better understanding I enjoyed reading Candace Blevins s books because they are well crafted I often learn new vocabulary they are entertaining the world building is intricate I love how all her series are intertwined in the same big universe they are compelling and they often make me reflect they challenge my perspectives. Book Inked beautyrest This duology provoked me a little bit because I could relate to the female lead I m a adopted child from China and I am almost the same age as her but I was uncomfortable about her relationships and some of her choices It s of a me problem than the book itself it s just I was hoping for her to be independent in an healthier and balanced relationship For me Lauren went directly from under her mother s authority and protection to under Gavin s authority she is not emancipated as an adult she depends on Gavin for her job her car her house her food her wardrobe her weapons Gavin provides her everything as an adult she did not have to fend for herself it made me a little bit disappointed It seems she was independent as a 9 years old Also most of her struggles are resolved thanks to her mother s connection With that being said here are the elements I enjoyed about this book fast paced action packed and engrossing story complex characters realistic portrayal of adoption and its attachment issues the representation is appreciated original new power and supernatural species heartwarming epilogue cameos from other series overarching plot I recommend this book for fans of kinky threesome of bad boy being tamed only by the female lead and of supernatural action romance. Inked beautyvice I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book Inked Beauty Out of the Fire 3 While the first book mostly focused on characters and relationships this second book brought the drama and action to the story While Lauren has always been a likeable character she has defintely proven herself to be worthy main character Not only did her gifts make her a worthy adversary in the super natural world but her ability to handle a complicated relationship proved quite impressive as well Gavin was never really my least favorite character but I m still amazed at how well the author transformed him into such a likeable main character Nick was a typical cat not always the most likeable but still always coming through in the end The three of them together was incredibly intense and incredibly hot at times The story was really well written and as always the author was super focused on details I find I usually compare most shifter book to hers and always find the others lacking with their details Although the story offered lots of drama I like how the author ended each dramatic sequence pretty quickly and didn t let it drag out over several chapters Although I like the intense moments I like the breaks in between too The ending was good but still left enough loose ends to leave me looking forward to her next book I sort of suspect we may have gotten a preview of a future main character too which make me even excited for future books Inked Beauty Out of the Fire 3 Incredible ending with new Chinese mythos that blows my mind In book one of this duet we learn the name of Gavin s love interest Many of us questioned Ms Blevin s sanity when we saw who Gavin picked Not because the pick was bad The uphill battle Gavin must take on with his in laws is what really threw me for a loop How on earth would he be able to overcome the hard feelings he caused with his love interest s relatives I have to hand it to Ms Blevins She does superb job of it and I am very happy with how this story turned out Well with 1 little item I ll get to that in a moment. What an amazing conclusion to the story We get to find out of Lauren s powers and just how amazing they are Ms Blevins as she does so well gives us so many details into that The main characters are Gavin Lauren and Nick and how they traverse into a relationship Also difficulties they all face with kidnappings facing battles of course the Supernatural politics But throughout it all as these three work together they find that they are all equal where it matters the men might want to hide and her away but she is very powerful and can hold her own. Inked Beauty kindle app Ms Blevins builds such an intricate world that I am always fascinated with how it keeps growing and growing with Supernatural beings The details that are in each and every page make her stories very hard to put down you want to keep read until you reach the last page I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book Inked Beauty Out of the Fire 3 This is the second book of the series You definitely need to read book one to understand what is going on This is a great story and the author does a great job with it Gavin has mellowed some but he is still the ruthless Master He is trying to work with Lauren s rules but sometimes it s difficult for him I loved how Lauren has grown through these two books She is still the Lauren we knew but she has grown up and has become much practical and ruthless Nick is the Rex and he needs to act accordingly whether he wants to or not I was amazed that he was willing to be in a threesome with Gavin and Lauren The three worked well together.
